I find it amazing that people all over the world can share culture, educational topics, and just about anything they want to, on just one website! People are able to upload videos, and express their opinions within the comments. It’s amazing. I have no doubt that helpful websites like YouTube will continue surfacing as technology progresses.

I spend too much time on Youtube sometimes, though mostly I watch Pokemon videos. My two favorite channels are TheDex and TamashiiHiroka. I have merch from the Dex and I have briefly talked to them over Twitter, which was super cool ! I also have a playlist of videos that I always show to people when we’re bored that are funny.

That was really cool to read about how YouTube started and how it’s kind of taken off! I like YouTube because it can be very informative and it’s never short of a tutorial I need. But, I think YouTube definitely has its downsides. It can be hard to find what your looking for and even worse: it’s very easy to fall down a YouTube rabbit hole and waste a lot of time. But over all I think that YouTube has brought more knowledge into the minds of those who use it for a positive outcome.
